I joined the "Luffing Lassies" who sail out of the Sarasota Sailing Squadron and immediately my life changed! Not only did I learn how to sail a sunfish, (and race, after a fashion), but I rediscovered a love of photographing boats, sailors, sailing, and all things nautical.

I am currently working on a documentary photo project, "From Land to Sea, Becoming a Lassie," which I hope to complete and share in 2022, in time for the Lassies' 50th Anniversary.
